You can purchase Wixor products through our authorized dealers. Wholesale customers such as dealers and rental companies can place orders in “My Wixor”.

Yes, it is possible for wholesale customers to become a Wixor customer, even if you are located outside the Netherlands. You can submit an application via ‘My Wixor’, and our team will process your application. In case you have any questions or need assistance during the application process, our customer service team is ready to support you.

Yes, you can rent WIXOR products from authorized rental companies and partners who are offering our products. We encourage you to contact a local rental dealer in your area for information on availability, rental rates and any additional services they offer.

All Wixor parts have universal sizes. The frames are available in a width size of 75 cm, 90 cm and 135 cm. The platforms are available in 190 cm, 250 cm and 305 cm.

Wixor offers a 5-year warranty period on all products.

Standards

The mobile towers scaffolds must comply with NEN 1004 in Europe. All Wixor mobile towers comply with this standard.

Yes, all Wixor products comply with European NEN standards, allowing professional use. In addition, all Wixor products are Tüv certified. So using wixor products increases your safety!

Yes, it is mandatory to have your climbing equipment inspected at least once a year.

Assembling a Scaffold

Read the provided user manual for a proper assembly. You can also find this manual via QR-codes on the scaffolds.

Start by placing frames with wheels on a stable surface and add braces, platforms and front railings. Use safety guardrails in order to meet the standards. This way you are always surrounded by guardrails.

You can easily expand your Wixor scaffolding with additional parts, this way you can modify and expand your Wixor scaffolding in all directions to meet your project requirements.

Note: outdoors you may expand your scaffold to a maximum working height of 10 meters.

Indoors you may erect your scaffold to a working height of 14 meters and outdoors you may erect to a working height of 10 meters. If you need to erect your rolling scaffold higher than the specified maximum height, contact Wixor for specific guidelines and approvals to safely carry out your project.

The platform height is the height of the highest platform in the scaffold. This is the height from the ground to the platform. The working height is always 2 meters above the platform height indicates the height to which you can work. The scaffold height is the total height of the scaffold, measured from the ground to the highest point of the scaffold.

The mobile towers 190, 250 and 305 require two people to assemble the scaffold.

You can move a rolling scaffold by releasing the brakes and moving the scaffold. Make sure no one is on the scaffold and that the scaffold is broken down to a platform height of 6 meters.

A safety guardrail is used to build up the side protection of the new floor from an intermediate platform. This way you are always equipped with guardrails when you climb the new floor. In addition, a safety guardrail has the advantage that you can assemble your scaffolding faster!

It is mandatory to use a toeboard on the working platform. It is not mandatory to use a toeboard on the other intermediate platforms.

Stabilizers

Stabilizers are mandatory from a platform height of 2.5 meters.

When placing a mobile tower less than 15cm from the facade, you are required to use two stabilizers. When the mobile tower is further than 15cm from the facade, you should use 4 stabilizers.

You rotate a stabilizer at an angle of about 135° to the mounting frame.

Safety

You should never climb the rolling scaffold from the outside. Always climb your rolling scaffold from the inside.

The scaffolding should be dismantled when wind strength exceeds 0.1 kN/m2. This corresponds to a speed of 45.5 km/h, Wind force 6 BF and a velocity of 12.7m/s.

It is not permitted to make modifications to Wixor products by yourself. This may compromise the safe use of climbing equipment.

Anchoring a mobile scaffold is required from wind force BF6. You must also anchor a scaffold when using a rain or sun shield or advertising banner. When you assemble a scaffold higher than the maximum platform height, it is necessary to anchor your scaffold. Please contact Wixor for special instructions and calculations.

Wixor scaffolds belong to the heaviest category weight class (Class 3), which means that the scaffolding platforms can withstand a force of 2 kN/m2. This equates to a weight of approximately 200 kg/m2.
