Delivery of Work Platform for Presidential Aircraft
Last year, Wixor was selected by the Slovenian Air Force to supply a work platform for maintenance activities on the presidential aircraft of Slovenia. This selection highlights the importance of safety, stability and reliability when working in a high-risk environment such as aircraft maintenance. The platform has since been delivered and is now in use, performing fully to the satisfaction of the end user.

The selected work platform is equipped with seven steps and was chosen specifically for its large working platform and maximum stability. For maintenance work on a presidential aircraft, precision is essential and maintenance personnel must be able to work safely, steadily and comfortably. The seven-step platform provided the ideal working height to carry out the required tasks efficiently and safely, without compromising stability.
Designed for professional aviation maintenance
The delivered platform is fitted with several safety features tailored to intensive professional use. It includes automatically self-closing safety gates, which prevent users from accidentally stepping of the open side. This ensures that the working platform remains fully enclosed during operation.
In addition, the platform is equipped with wheels combined with stabilisers. This allows the platform to be easily repositioned within the hangar, while remaining firmly and securely fixed during use. This combination offers flexibility without sacrificing safety.
Robust construction and reliable load capacity
For aviation maintenance, a strong and dependable construction is vital. The platform is designed with a robust structure and has a load capacity of up to 150 kilograms. This allows maintenance personnel to work safely with tools and components, without affecting the platform’s stability or safety.
The steps feature high-visibility safety markings, ensuring that each step is clearly visible, even in environments with reduced lighting or changing conditions. This reduces the risk of missteps and contributes to safe access to and from the platform.
